Join Novice Trick Dog Class!
Teach your dog over 20 fun tricks! Including… Spin, High Five, Soccer, Leg Weave, Push Ups, Hoop Jump, Touch, and so many more!
Taught by a Certified Trick Dog Trainer and AKC Evalulator If you are unsure if your dog can learn these tricks… don’t worry- I am here to help!
Earn your Novice Trick Dog Title! Be able to teach enough tricks to earn your trick dog title through both Do More With Your Dog and American Kennel Club!
Private Trick Training Group This is where videos will be posted daily, questions can be asked, and support will be given! Share your cute tricks and get creative!
Train from Home This class is fully virtual so no need to worry about putting on pants!
No Prior Experience Needed No training experience or prerequisites are required to join the Novice class. You will learn everything to succeed from day one!
The class starts Sunday April 14th. Videos are posted daily for 3 weeks.

FAQs

There is no age limit! All dogs can learn new tricks. Puppies should not be jumping off high objects or repetitively until at least 12 months old.
Tricks can be modified to accommodate puppies and senior dogs. -
This class is held online in a Facebook group. Once you sign up for the class you will be sent a link to join the Facebook group.

Class will start Sunday, April 14th. There are no live videos to attend so come watch and participate whenever is the best time for you!

Make sure you have lots of treats for training. Treats should be small, soft, and something your dog loves!
Optional: Treat pouch to hold treats in, hula hoop, dog bed or platform, muffin tin, tennis balls, soccer ball, bar or broom handle, cardboard boxes

Rules for Do More With Your Dog:
15 points. Novice and Intermediate Tricks count as 1 point, Advanced and Expert Tricks count as 2 points.
50% of tricks can be lured. Intermediate and higher tricks can be used again for next level titles.Rules for American Kennel Club:
AKC Number required for title. (purebreds can get a PAL number, mixed breeds can get a Canine Partners Number). Puppies must be at least 4 months old. 10 tricks to earn title. CGC test on record counts as 5 tricks. Lures may be used on all tricks. Tricks may NOT be used again on higher levels.
