FOUNDER, CANINE BEHAVIOR PRACTITIONER & DOG TRAINER
ISCP.Dip.Canine.Prac, CTDI, AKC Evaluator and FITDOG Instructor
Hello! I'm Ashley
I’ve always been fascinated by why dogs do the things they do.
That curiosity led me to pursue a diploma in canine behavior and it continues to drive me today as I help dogs and their humans enjoy life together to the fullest.
My mission is to create a safe, supportive space for dog guardians and equip them with the same practical, easy-to-use tools I rely on to train and manage my own dogs. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to live with a dog who has behavior challenges- but it doesn’t have to stay that way.
When you work with me, you’re not just getting a certified canine behavior practitioner and dog trainer. You’re getting a coach who believes training should fit into your life, not take it over. I believe dog training should be fun, rewarding, and something you share with your dog not something you do to them.
I share my life with a goofy mutt named Rue and a high-spirited, fun-loving Border Collie named Renly.
I can’t wait to meet you and your pup and hear all about your amazing goals!
Continued education is important for any professional. I strive to be a part of schools and organizations that advocate for humane and science-based training methodology.

Meet the Dogs
Rue CGC ATD VHM
Rue is a mixed breed dog who loves to play and is a great mediator for other dogs. She struggled in the past with reactivity after being attacked by another dog, but has since learned confidence through positive-based training!
Rue earned her Canine Good Citizen title and her Advance Trick Dog Title. She loves to go camping, hiking, and lounge in the sun!
Renly CGC ETD
Renly is a Border Collie with all that typical Border Collie energy! He originally got me into trick training as a way to give him an outlet for all that drive. He absolutely loves training and has earned his Canine Good Citizen Title and Expert Trick Dog Title.
Renly also loves hiking, playing disc, agility, and kayaking!
My Methodology
What kind of training can you expect?
I only use methods backed by scientific research on canine behavior and training.
This is a fear-free approach.
I do not use physical force or intimidation to stop an unwanted behavior, but instead help you teach alternate behaviors that lead to long-lasting desired habits and a strengthened bond between you and your dog.
I will never ask you to do something that makes your dog scared or uncomfortable. We can make powerful behavior changes without the use of pain or fear.
Your dog is learning every waking moment, and it should be enjoyable for both of you!
I have worked with a wide range of dog breeds, ages, temperaments, and training goals. No breed needs a heavy hand, but they do need clear communication, understanding of the individual, and their needs met.
As a canine behavior practitioner, I take a holistic approach when it comes to behavior issues like reactivity, aggression, and anxiety. I don’t simply try training the dog a behavior, but looking at the entirety of the dog and making a specialized modification plan that works for your family.
With me you can trust that I will always make an effort to stay up to date and informed about my training practicing and support you along your journey!
