  • Short answer, yes!

According to the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior, “Puppies can start puppy socialization classes as early as 7-8 weeks of age. Puppies should receive a minimum of one set of vaccines at least 7 days prior to the first class and a first deworming. They should be kept up-to-date on vaccines throughout the class.”

Being as puppy classes have shown to prevent aggression and anxiety in dogs, the importance of the socialization aspect cannot be overstated. First dose of vaccines are required, and updated vaccines are highly recommended.

Floors are sanitized before puppies arrive, and it is recommended to also bring a picnic blanket or bed for your puppy to rest on while at the brewery or any other place you take your puppy.

  • Please try to choose a class that fits with your schedule. If you or your puppy become ill, please message me before class starts. There are no make-up reschedules for no-shows. Handouts will be sent so you can do the homework at home. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there is an issue.

    • A hungry puppy- If you can, wait to feed their nearest meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner) until during or after class.

    • Leash - 6ft or shorter works best in a class setting. No retractable/flexi leashes in class please.

    • Harness or Collar - a front clip harness can work if your puppy is a strong puller. Make sure the collar/harness fits well so your puppy can't slip out. No choke/chain, prong/pinch, or electric/shock collars please.

    • Training Treats, bring more than you think you will need! Choose ones your puppy LOVES. I also recommend bringing a treat pouch or pocket to hold them in.

    • Mat or Blanket - Something portable and is okay for your puppy to lay on. Please bring every week.

    • Kong/Bully Stick/Other Chew - Good for down time to keep your puppy busy while the people talk

    • Water Bowl - Training works up a thirst!

    • Poop Bags - Please set a good example and clean up after your puppy.

    • Backback or Bag - To hold all your dog's things.

    • Vaccine records (unless already emailed)

  • Yes. I accept cash, check, Venmo and PayPal. I also can take cards directly over the phone or in person.

In order to save your spot though, payment needs to be received first. Please call, text, or email if you have any questions.
